Description:
Our December GCA concert focuses on Advent themes and preparation for the coming of Christ. While we will still enjoy Christmas carols, many of the selections will focus on anticipation and the events that led to Christmas morning. Selections include Bach’s Cantata 140 Wachet Auf and Herbert Howells’ Magnificat (Gloucester) as well as selections by Andre Thomas, Rosephanye Powell, and Shawn Kirchner.
